Call for Artists:
The semi-annual AGH Art Sale event is an extension of the Art Rental + Sales Programme, a revenue generating activity in support of Gallery Programming. Past Art Sales have successfully helped to raise the profile of AR+S activities and participating artists alike, featuring a wide selection of local and regional artists in many styles, mediums and price points.
This November, we will celebrate the eighth installment of the AGH Art Sale with our ever-growing community of collectors and art lovers in Hamilton and beyond.
We are seeking submissions from emerging and established Canadian artists for the upcoming Fall Art Sale. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of arts professionals in order to select approximately 65 artists for the event.
How to apply
Please submit the following materials to Alana Traficante, Art Rental + Sales Consultant, on or before August 16, 2010. Submissions will be accepted by mail or email.
1) Completed Application Form - PDF version | WORD version
Complete and return the application form by mail or email with accompanying submission.
2) Images of your work
Submit a minimum of 5 digital images of artwork available for the show. Images will be accepted via email or on a CD. All images must be in jpeg format, no larger than 300 dpi. Please ensure that images are clear, in-focus and well-lit.
3) Image List
Include an image list with title, date, medium, dimensions and price.
4) Brief Biography/CV
A brief, 200 word biography is required for promotional purposes. An Artist statement and CV are also an asset for the juried selection.

Tuesday and Wednesday 12 noon - 7 pm Thursday and Friday 12 noon - 9 pm Saturday and Sunday 12 noon - 5 pm
