Visual Arts Curriculum
 
This site was developed by the Art Gallery of Hamilton to stimulate an interest in art among elementary school students. All of the material and activities were chosen to complement the Ontario Elementary Curriculum for the Visual Arts.
 
In addition of the information and activities provided here, the Art Gallery of Hamilton also provides tours and workshops for classes. To find out more, or to book a tour please contact us.

The William Kurelek video requires the Quicktime player. You can download it for free from the Apple web site.

The games in the Artivities section of this site each require either a Flash or a Shockwave player from Macromedia. If you do not have these players they are available for free from the Macromedia web site. Please click on the easel to go there.

If you like what you see here, there's more! If you are a teacher and would like an Art Smarts! Interactive CD-ROM to use in your classroom, please contact the AGH Educator. The CD-ROM includes a "virtual gallery" that you can walk through with your students as well as many more activities.
