Each year, special individuals, organizations and companies adopt artworks from the Art Gallery of Hamilton’s 9,000+ permanent collection. Our adoptive parents choose two works a year – and their support is honoured with a label next to their chosen work. This is an opportunity to share in the overall care of our beautiful collection to preserve these works today and for future generations.

You can designate your Adopt an Artwork gift towards either the Gallery’s annual or endowment campaigns. Annual funds support programming, exhibitions, studio workshops and other activities for adults, families and children. An endowment designation means the full amount of your gift will benefit long-term care of our collection and will be transferred to the Hamilton Community Foundation towards the Building A Legacy 2 endowment.

$4000 = 2 artworks
$6000 = 3 artworks
