Adopt an Artwork
Each year, special individuals, organizations and companies adopt artworks from the Art Gallery of Hamilton’s 8,500-strong permanent collection. Our adoptive parents choose two works a year – and their support is honoured with a label next to their chosen work. This is an opportunity to share in the overall care of our beautiful collection to preserve these works today and for future generations.

You can designate your Adopt an Artwork gift towards either the Gallery’s annual or endowment campaigns. Annual funds support programming, exhibitions, studio workshops and other activities for adults, families and children. An endowment designation means the full amount of your gift will benefit long-term care of our collection and will be transferred to the Hamilton Community Foundation towards the Building A Legacy 2 endowment.

$2000 = 1 artwork
$4000 = 2 artworks
$6000 = 3 artworks
$Other Amount ($2000 each artwork)

Tribute and Memorial Gifts
Tribute and Memorial Gifts are a special way for you to honour the significant people in your life. They provide a meaningful opportunity to keep the memory of a loved one, celebrate a birthday, holiday, graduation, anniversary or other notable occasion. Your thoughtful gift will help the Art Gallery of Hamilton achieve its mission and enrich the lives of many in the community. The Gallery will send a card to indicate that a donation has been made in recognition of your recipient.

Make a donation:

• To Congratulate a milestone in someone's life
• To Celebrate a wedding or anniversary
• To Send "Best Wishes" for any occasion

When you make a gift, the Art Gallery of Hamilton sends a card on your behalf. If you wish, we can include your own special message. An official receipt for income tax purposes will be issued to you, the donor.

In-kind Donations
In-kind donations are always gratefully received by the AGH. The Gallery is currently in need of laptops, black & white and colour printers, Windows XP compatible computers, and wheelchairs. Donations receipts will be provided.
