The Art Gallery of Hamilton presents innovative and engaging exhibitions all through the year, drawing art lovers to the Gallery. The AGH collections travel throughout the world and showcase the Gallery as a leader in presenting notable works. The Art Gallery of Hamilton is a vibrant cultural centre dedicated to bringing art and people together. Mandated to collect, preserve and communicate Canada's artistic and cultural heritage, the Gallery is home to a diverse permanent collection of over 8,000 artworks including key historical, modern and contemporary pieces.

Funding supports the annual costs of Gallery operations (including activities for children, adults, schools and groups) and special projects, including events and exhibitions.

The Art Gallery of Hamilton demonstrates what The Economist recently called Canada's new spirit of self-confidence and boldness in experimentation. We value our partners who invest in the work of the arts in the community, and the dedication to hard work, tradition and innovation that produce success.
