Jordan Dunlop was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario and has been exhibiting art starting from an early age. He attended NASCAD U where he had the opportunity to travel to London, England during his studies. It was there that he developed his work further and exhibited, showing his work at galleries including the Royal Academy of Art.
Dunlop’s recent work involves the use of paint on plexi-glass, using both the surface and the reverse side to explore different aspects of abstraction, which he describes as “dyslexic alchemy.” Dunlop goes on to state: “We develop a way of working through intention which takes us only so far, as chance intervenes and erases our attempts to show us something new.”
Dunlop’s work has been included in multiple exhibitions in Ontario. Dunlop currently lives and works in Toronto, Ontario, producing his work out of Artscape Wychwood Barns.
