This documentary follows the traumatic and unjust story of Colten Boushie, a young Cree male from Saskatchewan, who was shot and killed in 2016 on a farmer’s property. Filmmaker Tasha Hubbard follows his story and the unfortunate trial that led to protests against the Canadian legal system, through the lens of Canada’s colonial history and violence enacted upon Indigenous people.
