AGH SUMMER CAMP 2020 IS CANCELLED
As an institution dedicated to the well-being of our community, our top priority is the health and safety of our campers, employees, and volunteers. To keep everyone protected, we have made the difficult decision to cancel AGH Summer Camps for 2020.
AGH CAMP-IN-A-BOX
Since we can’t be together for AGH Summer Camp at the Gallery this year, we are bringing the Gallery to you. AGH Camp-in-a-Box is like a bi-weekly subscription to creativity and fun through specialized kits that are chock full of art supplies, activities and demos, creative prompts and links to related online programming. Plus, each kit contains an exclusive link to a live demonstration by one of our expert artist-educators. Buy one or join us for all four!
Each Kit Contains:
- Supplies related to each week’s theme and activities
- Five creative activities with full instructions and images to support your progress
- A collection of art-games and creative prompts to help you continue your exploration
- An exclusive link to an online, live workshop with one of our artist educators
- A set of five art cards with works from the AGH collection and interpretive materials
- An exclusive link to a short virtual tour of a related AGH artwork
- Additional links to related AGH online content (Storytime, workshops, school tours, Picnic!)
- An AGH Family pass to welcome you back to the Gallery when we reopen
Here’s how it works:
- You register (and pay) online for your selected kits. While a family with more than one child may share kits, we include materials in sufficient quantities for one person to complete all of the activities. We recommend buying a kit for each child.
- You can register for all four kits at once and qualify for the discount or pick and choose as you go. Each kit has a register-by date to allow us time to pack everything in your kit.
- Each kit has a pick-up date where you come to the AGH to collect your kit(s), and starting the following Monday, you begin a guided creative journey with the materials and activities inside.
- Your kit includes a Special Links card which will have an exclusive link for a live online program with information about the time and date, as well as other related links for you to explore.
- You cannot get kits earlier than our pick-up date scheduled for each kit, but you can purchase additional kits later. (For instance, on pick-up date #3, you could get kits #1, #2 and #3.)
- If you are purchasing kits past the registration date, you will miss our live activities but will have access to all other features.
***For the safety of you, your family, AGH staff, and the community at large we are observing the Workplace Safety & Prevention Services Guidance on Health and Safety for Curbside Pickup and Delivery Services during COVID-19
Pre-registration is required, via our online registration form.
Registration deadlines and pick-up dates listed individually for each kit.
