Carol Bishop-Gwyn is an arts writer and former CBC arts producer with a well-founded passion for Canada’s east coast art history. Her first biography, The Pursuit of Perfection: A Life of Celia Franca became a finalist for both the Governor General’s and Charles Taylor award for non-fiction.
Her latest publication, Art and Rivalry: The Marriage of Mary and Christopher Pratt is an intimate and unflinching portrait of Christopher and Mary Pratt, two artists trying to reconcile the traditional values that can inform a marriage with each of their burgeoning artistic ambitions.
Mary and Christopher Pratt’s work can be viewed in The Collection exhibition on Gallery Level 2.
Art and Rivalry will be available for purchase at the Shop at AGH.
