Join us for the launch of a month-long celebration of art and creativity to celebrate AGH Annual Family Day and the National Day of the Child!
This month, we have something for everyone, whether you’re attending on-site or on-line. With our current RBC Artist-in-Residence: Sylvia Nickerson and ongoing installation of Lester Coloma: Masquerade, visitors to the Gallery will have lots to see and experience. Plus, we have online activities available for anyone to participate at home!
Here is everything we have in store:
Free admission to all exhibitions!
Virtual Storytime with Sara Dickinson: https://youtu.be/_RT9pmy551o
Virtual Storytime en Francais with Annie Webber: https://youtu.be/b8VRtxOMaI8
Virtual Studio with Tyler: 1 pm – 4 pm: Make Your Own Watercolours!
Follow along with Tyler for Family Fun Day this month as we learn how to make our very own watercolour paints out of old dried up markers! Together we will then use these to paint big skies and beautiful landscapes!
Suggested materials: Dried out markers, containers (jars or plastic cups), soft paint brushes and/or sponges, heavy weight paper to work on (cardstock, Bristol board, watercolour/mixed media paper if you have it).
