Jodi Kitto-Ward
Jodi Kitto-Ward is inspired by life that she observes around her. Nature, the urban environment of her surroundings, and everyday ordinary activities otherwise overlooked become rich areas of interest that she incorporates into her paintings. Kitto-Ward’s representational, vibrant style is informed by her interest in Pop Art and Art Deco; influences that she channels through the sense of line, colour, and expression portrayed on her canvases.
Jodi Kitto-Ward attended Sheridan College where she graduated from their Fine Arts Program. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists. Kitto-Ward’s work has been recently shown in a number of juried, group exhibitions throughout Ontario including past editions of the COAA Annual Members Exhibition at Etobicoke Civic Centre/Dundas Museum (2019); the WAAH Annual Exhibition, Art Gallery of Hamilton (2018); and the Society of Canadian Artists Open International Exhibition, Paper Mill Gallery, Toronto, ON (2018). Her work may be found in numerous private collections.
