This year, Still Life forms the theme for the Flash Forward Incubator Program, a nationwide initiative of gallery shows, publications, and festival partnerships.
Through individualized mentorship, youth are supported through all stages of their photography-based project, from conception to production to presentation, and given essential tools and experiences to prepare them for future endeavours. As a collection, they share a wide array of voices, interests, concerns, and celebrations from our Hamilton youth during this extraordinary year.
In this exhibition, we present selected works created by youth from Bernie Custis Secondary School, Dundas Valley Secondary School, and Sherwood Secondary School.
Flash Forward is grateful for the support of the RBC Foundation, Smokestack Studios, and the amazing teachers who continue to support youth in Hamilton.
