Join local artist Stephanie Vegh in the AGH Studio for a chance to learn how existing books can be the starting point for creating unique works of art!
In this course, you will learn about the structure of books, and how these structures can be disrupted or modified to change their nature as objects. Use book pages as surfaces for drawing and painting, learn techniques for erasing/altering text to make new meaning, and radically alter books as objects through cutting, glueing and stacking. For the last two classes, you will combine these techniques to create a final altered book project of your own. All materials provided.
REGISTRATION Deadline: October 20
