Family Fare fills the AGH with art, food and music for kids and their grown ups. Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace, with hands-on activities, $5 food tastings and a kid-friendly rave in the Pavilion. 

Try Food Pop Art, Potato Art and Still Life Fruit with AGH Artist Instructors, or settle in for storytime with Angelina Carapinha. See the Gallery from a child’s point of view on a kid-led art tour, contribute to collaborative Festival artworks, or hit the dance floor together.

Explore the day’s activities and food tastings, with hands-on artmaking and community projects happening throughout the Gallery.

Throughout the Day — Make + Explore

Drop into food-inspired art stations, storytimes, creative activities and a kid-led Gallery experience. Activities are designed so families can choose their own adventure rather than follow a set schedule. 

Taste

Sample dishes and treats that we know kids love for $5 per tasting.  

Dance

End your afternoon on the dance floor with a Hamilton Music Collective kid-friendly rave for the whole family. 

Come for one activity or spend the afternoon discovering them all.
