Artwork Documentation Sessions 2026

Location: The Creative Lab, Art Gallery of Hamilton

Artist’s Invited!

The AGH is pleased to offer high-quality documentation services for artists and creators seeking clear, professional images of their artwork. Photographer Mike Lalish specializes in photographing both 2D works (paintings, drawings, works on paper) and 3D works (sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and more).

Each documentation session lasts 30 minutes, depending on the number and size of works being photographed. Edited images will be delivered directly to you after the session. The AGH welcomes artists to bring in artwork for documentation in our G1 studio space for assistance in building their own digital inventory.

  • Appointment Times: 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm, & 3:30pm

 

Requirements:

  • Maximum 2 works per session
  • Works must be in good condition, able to withstand routine handling for the purposes of photography
  • 2D works must not exceed 48 x 48 inches
  • 3D objects must not exceed 24 x 24 inches and must not weigh more than 40 lbs
