Location: Art Gallery of Hamilton
Through selections from the AGH Collection, this tour will look at the varied portrayals and voices present in Canadian Contemporary Art. From the athletic imagery of Esmaa Mohamoud to the portraiture of Gordon Shadrach, visitors will explore the way different artist’s perspectives are communicated through visual images. We will carefully examine how these images illustrate world views and issues. Visual literacy, Black perspectives and critical thinking are key components of this tour.
