About Dwayne Morgan
Dwayne Morgan is a 2023 Order of Ontario appointee, two-time Canadian National Poetry Slam Champion, and the founder of Up From The Roots Entertainment, which promotes African Canadian and urban artists. He has shared the stage with Canada’s top artists, opened for Alicia Keys, and collaborated with Drake.

As the author of fourteen books, a playwright, producer, and speaker, Dwayne Morgan continues to leave a lasting impact on the literary and spoken word community.
