Abstract and non-representational painting allows us to play freely with tools of the visual language. For this course, the colourful abstraction produced by artists in the AGH Collection provides our inspiration. Through a variety of exercises and experiments, we will explore basic acrylic colour mixing, colour harmonies, and colour interactions.
This class is designed to introduce beginners to painting, and to the Collection, while also providing challenges for more experienced artists. Some materials provided.
