Frame by Frame: A Youth Filmmaking Workshop

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Monday, November 17, 2025

RSVP Required - Free Admission

Location: Art Gallery of Hamilton

This hands-on workshop invites youth ages 14–25 to dive into the world of filmmaking through a creative, collaborative experience.

Participants will experiment with different film genres and team up to produce a commercial, using the Gallery as a dynamic backdrop for this genre-focused exploration.

The session is led by artist and filmmaker Ty Tekatch (AGH Media Producer) and writer and filmmaker Aaron Lam (AGH Communications Coordinator). Ty will demonstrate techniques for bringing cinematic style to projects, while both facilitators guide participants in visual storytelling, narrative experimentation, and imaginative approaches to filmmaking.

All materials are included. No experience necessary.
This event is suitable for youth ages 14-25.
