Here&Now: Contemporary Dance Performance with Aeris Körper

Here&Now offers audiences the chance to experience the work of Canada’s most exciting up-and-coming choreographers in a vibrant and inviting environment. A mixed program of breaking, contemporary, and dance theatre–paired with choreographer talk-backs with our captivating host, Shannon Kitchings – Here&Now promises a great night out for new dance audiences and seasoned attendees alike.

Here&Now’s debut line-up includes:

Pillar of You, an exploration of who we are and how queerness intersects with personal experiences an memories. Pillar of You is choreographed by Métis, Franco-Manitoban artist Kéïta Fournier-Pelletier.
Binary Codes, an examination of binary-centric thinking that seeks to innovate what is possible at the intersection of breaking and stage presentation. Choreographed by Bryce Taylor.
And Alone in the Living Room, choreographed by Tiohtià:ke/Montréal-based Nicole Jacobs. Alone in the Living Room is an exploration of the self in its multiplicity and the enigmatic nature of the human experience.
