Join us on January 11th from 6-8pm to celebrate the opening of the Keeping Six Arts Collective’s, This Is Our Space Too, in the Jean & Ross Fischer Gallery.
Keeping Six – Hamilton Harm Reduction Action League is a community-based organization that defends the rights, dignity, and humanity of people who use drugs. It was formed in response to the ravages of the opioid crisis, and out of recognition of the need for an organized voice for people with lived and living experience of substance use at the many stakeholder tables, attempting to manage and overcome the drug epidemic in the city of Hamilton. Membership is primarily people with lived experience of drug use and those who love and care for them.
All are welcome to attend as we work towards building understanding, compassion and knowledge about people in our community. Participation is open to all those with lived experience of substance use.
Remarks will begin at 6:30, followed by an Open Mic performance from 7-9pm.
