Establishing a professional art career can involve many daunting tasks, such as applying to commercial galleries and art fairs. In this workshop, artists will work with art consultants from the AGH Art Sales + Services program to review the basics for applying to the 2026 AGH Art Sale and other commercial venues.
We will share skills and tips that can turn compelling submission packages into tangible commercial gallery opportunities. You will learn: best practices to document and edit images of your artwork, what to consider writing an artist statement, how to establish artwork prices, and best presentation practices such as editioning and framing.
Please note this is not a live portfolio review. You do not need to bring your artwork with you.
