Join us in a cozy station-based art hangout at the Art Gallery of Hamilton! Our agenda includes: button-making, sticker making, co-creating a community banner, as well as opportunities to explore a variety of mediums (such as collage, watercolour, pastels). The Expressive Arts exercises will include themes of mindfulness/grounding, identity exploration and expression, and building a relationship with joy. All skill levels are welcome, no experience in art-making needed to join! A range of supplies will be available to you throughout the event.
*Quiet Queer studio was designed with introverted and quieter Queer folks in mind; for those who prefer a calmer atmosphere to celebrate Pride. All Queer folks are welcome to join this event!
$5/ person
This workshop will be led by Lex D’Angelo, a Queer Hamilton artist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). They are trained in Self-Compassion, Somatics and Expressive Art Therapy.
