Beading is one of the defining mediums of contemporary Indigenous art on this continent. The Radical Stitch exhibition brings much needed critical attention to the breadth and impact of this practice through the work of artists from across Turtle Island.
We are thrilled to welcome curators Sherry Farrell Racette, Michelle LaVallee, and Cathy Mattes along with artist Ruth Cuthand to share their knowledge and work to discuss the continuum of beading in Indigenous culture.
Please note: We encourage guests to pay what you can, registration is required, and you will be prompted to make a donation during the registration process.
