The AGH is delighted to partner with legendary chef/artist Roger Mooking to offer this incredible opportunity to emerging artists in the greater Hamilton area. 

Produced and hosted in collaboration with Rocklands Market, A Roger Mooking Experience, and other industry-specific partners, and generously funded by RBC, the SoundBites Retreats series are built on three foundational pillars:

Access – providing participants with tools and access to resources
Affordability – ensuring that cost is not a barrier to entry for participants to access the retreat programming
Diversity/Equity/Inclusion/Belonging – focused on participants from underserved equity-deserving communities be that identity, culture, or financial

The Location
Rocklands Market is a 12-acre special event and multimedia studio facility in Grey County, Ontario, Canada (2 hours north of Toronto). Meandering trails, one-of-a-kind live fire cooking playground, and a 2700 sq ft black steel modern barn feature on the wooded grounds.

Transportation will be provided from the AGH to Rocklands Market. Departing at 8:30am from the AGH and arriving back at the AGH at 7pm.

Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is for emerging artists within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Must be 18+ to apply.

Can I apply for more than one retreat?
Yes, you may apply for one or all three of the retreats but will only be selected for one.
