Thomas Duxbury is an independent artist based in Hamilton, Ontario, known for his unique blend of blues and indie rock sounds. With a signature style that incorporates rhythms and melodies reminiscent of surf music from the 1960s, 1950s-inspired ballads, and rock and roll riffs, Duxbury and his collaborators have created a sound that is both familiar and fresh. Fronting a band called New Mother Nature, Duxbury has brought together a group of talented musicians and artists, including Bruce Cole, Chuck Kostash, and Jesse Stratton. Their performances are known for their energy and excitement, and they have earned recognition by opening for big names such as The Dirty Nil, The Mosfets, Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs, and Jeff Martin to name a few. Duxbury and his band New Mother Nature are currently in the process of recording and developing their second studio album. Duxbury’s influences include Modest Mouse, Neil Young, The Black Keys, and Tom Petty, and his unique genre-blending has seen him perform at notable events across Canada and the United Kingdom.
