The Art Gallery of Hamilton’s Art Sales + Services is thrilled to present Abundance in Becoming, a collection of new paintings by Canadian artist Yangyang Pan.
In this latest series, Yangyang Pan’s paintings emerge from close observation of gardens and seasonal growth, where vitality unfolds with determination, and rough cycles of renewal and expansion. Working intuitively through abstract gesture and layered color, Pan translates lived experience, emotional energy, and sensitivity to space into surfaces that feel responsive, open, and alive.

About the Artist:
Yangyang Pan studied at the Sichuan Fine Art Institute in Chongqing, China, where she received her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in 1998 followed by completion of her Masters of Fine Art in 2002. She remained at the Sichuan Fine Art Institute as an instructor until her immigration to Canada in 2006. Pan currently lives and works in Stouffville, ON. Pan’s work has been exhibited in Canada, the United States, Italy, and China. Her work can be found in the public collections of the Government of Ontario, Holt Renfrew Canada, and The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts, NY.
