The Art Gallery of Hamilton welcomes visitors with special needs. Since our 2005 renovations, we have made improvements to our facilities, including:

A ramp in the lower Lobby.

A lift to access both levels of the Jean and Ross Fischer Gallery and Community Lounge.

A wheelchair accessible bathroom on the Office level, which also houses our Studio and Boardroom.

Persons with disabilities pay full admission and ONE attendant receives free admission.

Guide dogs or support animals are welcome.

Two complimentary transport wheelchairs are available for use at the AGH.

Tactile programmes available with our Access AGH programme.


Central Staircase

Installations located on the Central Staircase are unfortunately not fully accessible to patrons dependent on mobile systems for transportation.
