The AGH produced a short original documentary as a component piece of Tom Thomson? The Art of Authentication, which called on significant Canadian artists to reflect on how ‘authenticity’ is changing within a contemporary understanding of art. Join the film’s creator Tyler Tekatch, exhibition co-curator Tobi Bruce, and contributing artists Allyson Mitchell, Deirdre Logue, and Nathan Eugene Carson as they expand on this discussion via zoom. Admission is Free.
For those who haven’t seen the film in the exhibition space, once registered you will be sent a link so you can watch it any time you like.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of September 22, 2021, the Government of Ontario requires visitors to any pre-registered events or activities (including talks, tours, workshops, etc) who are 12 years of age and older to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and to provide proof of vaccination along with government-issued ID upon arrival. Please arrive early for any scheduled events or activities to allow time for check-in screening.
