The Art Gallery of Hamilton is a vibrant cultural centre dedicated to bringing art and people together. Mandated to collect, preserve and communicate Canada's artistic and cultural heritage, the Gallery is home to a diverse permanent collection of over 9,000 key historical, modern and contemporary artwork. Your membership is an investment in the Gallery's work. Together, we ensure the following:
- Caring of the permanent collection
- Staging of quality exhibitions
- Education and public programmes for children and adults
- Developing and perserving of our community's cultural vitality
AGH Members experience a unique and personal relationship with the Gallery. You will be kept informed of upcoming exhibitions and programmes through insights - the Gallery's magazine now produced exclusively for Members. Members are also extended invitations to special events and have the opportunity to meet other art lovers who share their interest and passion for the arts.
The Gallery offers the option of a two-year membership. Members who commit for two years are Golden Society Members. In addition to regular membership benefits, you will receive a Golden Society Member's card, an invitation to an exclusive special event and a discount on membership dues. Golden Society Membership is available at all levels of Membership. As a Golden Society Member, you will increase the impact of your gift by enabling the Gallery to manage administrative costs better and decrease mailing expenses. Your gift will be receipted in the year it is received.
