Explore all of the exhibitions on view for free on the first Friday of every month! With free activities each month, there’s no better time to experience the AGH.
Easily one of the city’s best and most prolific outdoor muralists, Lester Coloma will be in the final stages of a new mural for our AGH Lobby – Lester Coloma: Masquerade
Art kits will be available for anyone interested in helping Sylvia Nickerson develop ideas as part of her residency.
11:00am–6:00pm – Free Admission to All Exhibitions! All day AGH films Screening in the AGH Pavilion! Learn more about the many amazing artists who have recently contributed work to our spaces!
2pm: Free Friday At Home Studio Activity With Tyler!

Follow along with Tyler from his home studio as we learn how to make our very own watercolour paints out of old dried up markers! Together we will then use these to paint big skies and beautiful landscapes! See the list of suggested materials below if you’d like to follow along!
Suggested Materials:
– Dried out markers
– Containers (jars or plastic cups),
– Soft paint brushes and/or sponges
– Heavy weight paper to work on (cardstock, Bristol board, watercolour/mixed media paper if you have it)
3:00pm – 6:00 pm: Conversations! In lieu of a complimentary tour, we invite visitors to have a short chat with one of our AGH docents who will be present in our gallery.
You don’t even have to be here in person to tour the Gallery!
