Have you ever painted your feelings through a plastic bag…with your feet? How about with a drum mallet? Or what about a fly swatter!? If any of that sounds like fun to you, please join us to make some Motion-based Percussive Colour paintings! Named after exhibiting artist Michèle Pearson Clarke (MPC), the artist whose work we’ll be reflecting on, this special art activity will have you dancing, stomping, squishing and wiggling your feelings to life. Open to all ages, and free sketchbooks will be provided.
Between 1pm and 4pm each Sunday afternoon this summer, the Gallery will offer artist-led activities for families! Each activity will draw inspiration from one of the exhibitions currently on view. We will also have self-guided sketchbook challenges throughout the Gallery, perfect for beginners or first-time visitors to the AGH.
Can’t make it this week? AGH Sketchbook Sundays take place July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14, 21, 28
**Gallery Level 1 admission for adults still applies, however all Sketchbook Sunday programs are free!
