ONLINE ARTIST LED PROJECTS
(Kindergarten-Grade 8)
Water Colour Exploration: Express Yourself with Visual Artist Nancy Benoy
Using watercolour (or any paints on hand) students will gain an understanding of how much of a role emotion plays in artmaking as they create paintings based on feelings, inspired by poetry or short stories. We will also take a look at historical artists and how they conveyed emotion.
AGH Youth Film Challenge
(Grades 4-12)
The AGH Film Festival’s annual Youth Film Challenge is accepting short films from aspiring filmmakers of all ages. Making a movie with a phone or Ipad is very easy, and is a productive use of screen time that engages literacy in developing storytelling skills. Our artist-educators can help through our Online projects.
