We are pleased to be mounting our first public exhibition of original artworks produced by participants of our Artful Moments program for persons with dementia next door at the David Braley Health Sciences Centre!

The exhibition Norval Morrisseau here at the Art Gallery of Hamilton explores Morrisseau’s role as a shaman artist whose visions encourage positive environmental and cultural change based on the traditional Anishinaabe values of respect, reciprocity, relationships, and responsibility.

The nice thing about working with living contemporary artists is that we can ask them about their work and process. Here we interviewed Rosemary Kilbourn. Her exhibition ‘A Singular Place’ is on view on Gallery Level 2 until March 17, 2019.
